DHARA stands for Driving Holistic Action For Urban Rivers.
It is a platform to co learn and discuss solutions for managing local water resources.
The annual meeting of the River Cities Alliance(RCA) -DHARA, is being organized by the National Mission for Clean Ganga(NMGA) In association with the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA).
RCA was launched in 2021 and included cities from both Ganga Basin and non-Ganga Basin states.
It involves partnership of two ministries- The Ministry of Jal Shakti and Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
