The central Government has planned to commence purple revolution by encouraging lavender cultivation in the Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
It is planned under the CSIR-IIIM’s Aroma Mission through Ministry of Science and Technology on the lines of Doda and Reasi districts.
The idea of revolution was announced by Union Minister of the State, Jitendra singh.
